Cream/Gel Liner

Out of all the different things to learn when it comes to makeup this is the one that i cant seem to master. When i fist really started using liner i was going for liquid liners, simply because that's what i saw my sisters use when i was younger and my mother as well, little did i know you can buy cream and gel liners which to me, even though they are all difficult to use, are much easier to work with. The only thing with these products are that they dry super quick so if you mess up it can be quite a challenge to try and fix it. My suggestions are this:

1- PRACTICE. I don't know how many times i have gotten my entire face finished and then junked up my liner which can really make you want to kill someone because you end up having to do everything over again, and in some cases this could be worse because you might not have time to redo your makeup. So what i i like to do is when i'm bored or have no where to be i just practice with no makeup on that way if i mess it up no big deal!

2- Try different products, Personally I use Clinique Cream Liner. I like this one cause it is exactly what its name says its creamy compared to some gel liners. Its really all about comfort, you have to find a material that is easy for you to work with, every one is different!

3- Try different brushes. I was using a fine liner brush for a while which is nice for the lid and into your inner corner but if you want a nice clean flick you should try out a angled liner brush like the 266 from MAC, be careful though take it from me i used the fine liner brush for quite a while and was very use to it so when i tried to change over to the angled brush it was really hard to get used to, i am getting the hang of it finally but just be warned it does feel REALLY different.

4- Don't feel bad if you don't get it down right away it can be very discouraging  trust me i know my husband has had to listen to me scream and get upset over line on more than one occasion.

I will eventually do a tutorial for you on ways of doing liner but i don't think i should do one now since i am still learning myself. If you have any tips that help you make sure to comment and let me know and in the mean time check out my Channel and follow me on twitter!

Here are some photos from the other night when i was practicing!
