Amanda Seyfried Oscars Look- Pixiwoo Spin

Time for another spin on a Pixiwoo look! I recently saw a video of theirs were they did Amanda Seyfried's Oscar makeup (you can find the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPNip8gtFhs) and i fell in love, i have been wanting to do something with purples on Stephy for a while a this one was perfect. I did lighten the colors a bit on Steph though because she typically wears lighter makeup.

Here is the Look all finished up:

As always I started off with moisturizer all over the face applied with my Real Techniques (RT) Buffing brush, I then used my NARS Sheer glow foundation in color Ceylan, i first applied it to her face with a RT Essential foundation brush and then i buffed in in with the RT Stippling brush. After that i used my pointed foundation brush from RT and applied my Benefit Erase paste in color 1 Fair under her eyes and on any blemishes, i buffed that in with my RT domed shadow brush.

Eyes where the main focus of this look but in the Pixiwoo video they went a litttttle bit darker than i wanted to go on Steph because she is very fair skinned. I started off the eyes with my Clinique touch base for eyes in color 10 Canvas and i worked that all over the lid and up to the brow bone with my finger. I then used a Maybelline shadow in color Linen to base her lid. The next color i used, Foxy, was from my Urban Decay Naked2 palette i wanted this over the lid on top of Linen just to add some warmth to the base. The final base i used for her lid was a pink toned matte color from a Sephora palette i picked up at the register a couple visits ago. The color i picked is called Apricot and i just mixed it with the blush color in the palette for a little extra tone.

 Apricot

Blush Color

The next step was the color for the outer corner of her eye. I have had a little quad palette from Ulta for quite a while and have barely ever used it so this was the perfect time. I first used the color in the top right corner which is a smoky pink shimmer and I applied it with my RT flat shadow brush right in her outer corner in a v shape from the bottom lash line to right above her crease.
I then used the top left shadow which is a deep purple and I applied it to the outer corner of the eye as well but just under the crease and down to the lash line. I used my expert crease brush to lightly blend these colors together just to look softer. I did use an angled liner brush with some of the second shadow color along her top lash line as well. I then used my Clinique cream liner and and my RT fine liner brush so apply a tiny line of liner to the top lash line and then i smuged it out to make it nice and smoky.

Warning: I had had this palette about 4 years there is no making it look pretty lol. Sorry!

After all that is finished you can move onto the face. Nic from Pixiwoo had a powder that had a nice illuminating quality to it but i don't have anything like that so to help get that same glowy effect i used a creme blush. This time i went with a creme rouge from NYX  unfortunately there is no name for this color but any glowing pink blush you have will do. I also applied my Bare Minerals Mineral Veil on the top of her cheek bones for highlight.

For her lips i had to kind of improvise i didn't have anything quite as pink as Nic used but i did have  really pretty color in my Victoria secret palette that i really wanted to use so i just went for it. I have had this quite a while so im not sure if they still sell it.

Again i have had this a LONG time so its very well.....loved.

Color used is third down, or center color.

I finished off her look with my Maybelline 8 by one volumize mascara and the Rimmel stay matte powder in color transparent. Here are all the products used:

And here is Stephy all finished:

Marilyn Monroe Look

I'm sure you have noticed by now that Stephy is with me about 98% of my life so i am always playing with make on her lovely face. I decided to do a Marilyn look on her because as long as i have known Steph she has been in love with her, and why not Marilyn was and is a symbol of beauty and real curvy, glamorous, elegant women.

Here is our Look all finished up:

First thing i did was apply some moisturizer to her face with my Real Techniques buffing brush. For foundation i really needed a matte foundation but i didn't have on in her color so i stuck with my NARS Sheerglow foundation in color Ceylan and used my Benefit Erase Paste in color 1 Fair for concealer under her eyes and on any blemishes on her face.

Marilyn doesn't usually have much on her eyes its mainly just a light shadow and and heavy winged   liner so the first thing i did was apply my Clinique touch base for eyes in color 10 canvas with my finger all over her lid, i then used my Clarins Enchanted eye palette for a really pretty shimmer that barely had any color too it just to brighten up the eye a bit. For Liner i used my Cinique gel liner along with my Real Techniques Fine Liner brush and put a nice little cat eye right along her top lash line.

Now that the eyes are finished i moved on to her face products for blush i used the Benefit Bella Bamba blush, it is so perfect for this look its such a beautiful natural pinky, peachy blush.

I also applied a highlighter to the top of her cheekbones, for this I used Bare Minerals Mineral Veil.

For her lips i needed that classic bright Red lip Marilyn is known for. I knew that my Rimmel London Kate Moss lip stick in color 01 Rossetto with an over coat of a Makeup forever clear gloss that game in a set with a red lip stain.

After this is applied mascara to her eyes, i used my Maybelline 8 by one volumize mascara and set the makeup with my Rimmel Stay matte powder in color Transparent.

Here are all the products used.

And here is Stephy all done :)

Keira Knightly Look

While looking around for makeup looks for small eyes i found this amazing Keira Knightly look and  i knew i had to do it on Steph.

Here is the look we were mirroring:
Now unfortunately i didn't have an eye shadow in this same matte color, i am still building my makeup collection, so i tried to pick one i had that was fairly close all though it was a shimmer so it looks a bit different.

Here is Stephs finished look

The first thing i did was Moisturize, whatever you would like to use is fine. We used NARS Sheer glow foundation in color Ceylan on Steph all though i really would have preferred a matte foundation but i don't currently have one in her color :( For concealer i used Benefit Erase past in color 1 Fair and i also had her but some Maybelline Baby Lips balm on just to soften her lips before we apply color later.

I used my Clinique touch base in color 10 canvas just as a base for her shadow and then for the main lid color i used the Bewitch shadow from my Urban Decay Theodora palette. I applied this all over the lid and also a little bit under the eye.

For the liner i didnt want to use anything liquid, gel etc because i wanted a softer look soI used shadow color Black out from my Naked2 Palette and a thin angled liner brush. i applied this to both her top and bottom lash line and used a fluffy brush to soften it just a bit.

For blush we stayed really light i used a Mac Orange-y blush unfortunately i have had this for ever and when i got it i wasn't as into makeup so i don't know the name and it rubbed off the back :( but any orange toned blush will work since its really light anyhow. I used my Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in color 001 Transparent and i just lightly pushed this onto the skin with a Real Techniques expert face brush to make her look airbrushed. We finished with Maybelline 8 by One mascara and for the lips i used my Super-Saturated High Gloss lip pencil form Urban Decay in color Glinda with my Revlon Colorburst Gloss over top in color 040 Crystal water. These color burst glosses are so amazing they aren't sticky they are very soft and last a long time without stringing when they finally do dry.

Here are all the products i used:

And my lovely lady all finished:

Hope you all enjoy this look, if there is a celebrity look you would like to see let me know on twitter, @brittin90210 and make sure to check out my you tube for tutorials, hauls and more!

Theodora, The Great and Powerful Oz

I am a giant fan of Pixiwoo, if i could do anything it would be leave Florida and go alllllll the way to London just to take the Pixiwoo course....not to go to another country or anything.

Im a fangirl.

That is beside the point though. Recently they created a Mila Kunis look from the new Great and Powerful Oz movie and since i had the same palette i couldn't help but want to do a spin of my own on their creation.

I got this palette a couple weeks ago and i have really fallen in love with it. The range from light to dark is amazing and don't get me started on the gold shadow, Spell, its so beautiful i just want to put it on every time i do my makeup.

Here is the finished product.

Lets go through the steps we take to get this look.

First i applied a basic moisturizer Stephy (my lovely model) Has perfect skin so it really doesn't matter what base, primer or moisturizer i use on her. I chose a light foundation to keep her looking a bit glowing and natural, I went with NARS Sheer Glow foundation in color Ceylan, along with benefit Erase paste as concealer in color 1 Fair.

Next we moved on to eyes and i uesd my  UD(Urban Decay) Oz palette as well as a Clarins palette to get the colors you saw above. I went with Broken from my UD palette all over her lid and right under the brow bone. I then took beware and used that in the crease focusing on the outer corner. I did use a tiny bit of west in the outer corner just to add some depth to her eyes.

Colors top left to right: Broken, Beware, West
Colors bottom left to right: Bewitch, Spell, Jealous

The last shadow i used was from my Clarins Enchanted eye palette and it was just a light shimmer to go over Broken so it wouldn't be matte, the original look from Pixiwoo was matte but i wanted some shimmer just because :)

I used the shadow on the bottom row to the right, sorry no name for the color.

I did apply liner to this look it was a cat eye but with a small wing and this is because Stephy has small eyes and after all i wanted this to stay a bit on the natural side so i just tried to keep my wing low. I used Clinique brush on cream liner in color True Black and applied it with my Real Techniques Fine Liner brush. Once the eyes were finished (mascara will come after powder) i moved on to the rest of the face, i used a cream blush i just received in my March Beautyarmy Box  from Skinn Cosmetics in color Teen Tone. The best thing about this product is that it is a touch base for eyes, lips and cheeks! I then applied my Bare Minerals Mineral Veil on the high points of her face as a highlighter. I absolutely love this product. I use it everyday it has become a makeup staple for me it just give the most beautiful glow.

To powder her face i used the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I first heard of this from Tanya Burr and all she did was rave about the product so i figured i needed to give it a go for only $7.00 and boy am i glad i did. I compare this to the Mac Mineralized Skin finish the only difference is that its about $30.00 cheaper. I think this powder is amazing and everyone should give it a go. The color i used was 001 Transparent. The last two steps were mascara and lipstick. For mascara i went with the Maybelline 8 by one volume express mascara, this was only $8.00 at CVS and it is one of my favorite mascaras now along with the Falsies mascara from Maybelline.

For her lips i chose a Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in color 525 Wine with Everything i did run a gloss over it though it wouldn't matter what you choose this was just a clear gloss., so whatever you prefer is fine.

All products used.
