Theodora, The Great and Powerful Oz

I am a giant fan of Pixiwoo, if i could do anything it would be leave Florida and go alllllll the way to London just to take the Pixiwoo course....not to go to another country or anything.

Im a fangirl.

That is beside the point though. Recently they created a Mila Kunis look from the new Great and Powerful Oz movie and since i had the same palette i couldn't help but want to do a spin of my own on their creation.

I got this palette a couple weeks ago and i have really fallen in love with it. The range from light to dark is amazing and don't get me started on the gold shadow, Spell, its so beautiful i just want to put it on every time i do my makeup.

Here is the finished product.

Lets go through the steps we take to get this look.

First i applied a basic moisturizer Stephy (my lovely model) Has perfect skin so it really doesn't matter what base, primer or moisturizer i use on her. I chose a light foundation to keep her looking a bit glowing and natural, I went with NARS Sheer Glow foundation in color Ceylan, along with benefit Erase paste as concealer in color 1 Fair.

Next we moved on to eyes and i uesd my  UD(Urban Decay) Oz palette as well as a Clarins palette to get the colors you saw above. I went with Broken from my UD palette all over her lid and right under the brow bone. I then took beware and used that in the crease focusing on the outer corner. I did use a tiny bit of west in the outer corner just to add some depth to her eyes.

Colors top left to right: Broken, Beware, West
Colors bottom left to right: Bewitch, Spell, Jealous

The last shadow i used was from my Clarins Enchanted eye palette and it was just a light shimmer to go over Broken so it wouldn't be matte, the original look from Pixiwoo was matte but i wanted some shimmer just because :)

I used the shadow on the bottom row to the right, sorry no name for the color.

I did apply liner to this look it was a cat eye but with a small wing and this is because Stephy has small eyes and after all i wanted this to stay a bit on the natural side so i just tried to keep my wing low. I used Clinique brush on cream liner in color True Black and applied it with my Real Techniques Fine Liner brush. Once the eyes were finished (mascara will come after powder) i moved on to the rest of the face, i used a cream blush i just received in my March Beautyarmy Box  from Skinn Cosmetics in color Teen Tone. The best thing about this product is that it is a touch base for eyes, lips and cheeks! I then applied my Bare Minerals Mineral Veil on the high points of her face as a highlighter. I absolutely love this product. I use it everyday it has become a makeup staple for me it just give the most beautiful glow.

To powder her face i used the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I first heard of this from Tanya Burr and all she did was rave about the product so i figured i needed to give it a go for only $7.00 and boy am i glad i did. I compare this to the Mac Mineralized Skin finish the only difference is that its about $30.00 cheaper. I think this powder is amazing and everyone should give it a go. The color i used was 001 Transparent. The last two steps were mascara and lipstick. For mascara i went with the Maybelline 8 by one volume express mascara, this was only $8.00 at CVS and it is one of my favorite mascaras now along with the Falsies mascara from Maybelline.

For her lips i chose a Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in color 525 Wine with Everything i did run a gloss over it though it wouldn't matter what you choose this was just a clear gloss., so whatever you prefer is fine.

All products used.
