Amanda Seyfried Oscars Look- Pixiwoo Spin

Time for another spin on a Pixiwoo look! I recently saw a video of theirs were they did Amanda Seyfried's Oscar makeup (you can find the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPNip8gtFhs) and i fell in love, i have been wanting to do something with purples on Stephy for a while a this one was perfect. I did lighten the colors a bit on Steph though because she typically wears lighter makeup.

Here is the Look all finished up:

As always I started off with moisturizer all over the face applied with my Real Techniques (RT) Buffing brush, I then used my NARS Sheer glow foundation in color Ceylan, i first applied it to her face with a RT Essential foundation brush and then i buffed in in with the RT Stippling brush. After that i used my pointed foundation brush from RT and applied my Benefit Erase paste in color 1 Fair under her eyes and on any blemishes, i buffed that in with my RT domed shadow brush.

Eyes where the main focus of this look but in the Pixiwoo video they went a litttttle bit darker than i wanted to go on Steph because she is very fair skinned. I started off the eyes with my Clinique touch base for eyes in color 10 Canvas and i worked that all over the lid and up to the brow bone with my finger. I then used a Maybelline shadow in color Linen to base her lid. The next color i used, Foxy, was from my Urban Decay Naked2 palette i wanted this over the lid on top of Linen just to add some warmth to the base. The final base i used for her lid was a pink toned matte color from a Sephora palette i picked up at the register a couple visits ago. The color i picked is called Apricot and i just mixed it with the blush color in the palette for a little extra tone.

The next step was the color for the outer corner of her eye. I have had a little quad palette from Ulta for quite a while and have barely ever used it so this was the perfect time. I first used the color in the top right corner which is a smoky pink shimmer and I applied it with my RT flat shadow brush right in her outer corner in a v shape from the bottom lash line to right above her crease.
I then used the top left shadow which is a deep purple and I applied it to the outer corner of the eye as well but just under the crease and down to the lash line. I used my expert crease brush to lightly blend these colors together just to look softer. I did use an angled liner brush with some of the second shadow color along her top lash line as well. I then used my Clinique cream liner and and my RT fine liner brush so apply a tiny line of liner to the top lash line and then i smuged it out to make it nice and smoky.

Warning: I had had this palette about 4 years there is no making it look pretty lol. Sorry!

After all that is finished you can move onto the face. Nic from Pixiwoo had a powder that had a nice illuminating quality to it but i don't have anything like that so to help get that same glowy effect i used a creme blush. This time i went with a creme rouge from NYX  unfortunately there is no name for this color but any glowing pink blush you have will do. I also applied my Bare Minerals Mineral Veil on the top of her cheek bones for highlight.

For her lips i had to kind of improvise i didn't have anything quite as pink as Nic used but i did have  really pretty color in my Victoria secret palette that i really wanted to use so i just went for it. I have had this quite a while so im not sure if they still sell it.

Again i have had this a LONG time so its very well.....loved.

Color used is third down, or center color.

I finished off her look with my Maybelline 8 by one volumize mascara and the Rimmel stay matte powder in color transparent. Here are all the products used:

And here is Stephy all finished:

Hope you enjoyed this look, i did film us doing it and you can see the colors a bit better but be warned there is a bit in the middle where the audio is all funky lol. Go check it out anyways at http://www.youtube.com/user/Brittin90210?feature=mhee
